Medication-Specific Safety Information

Detailed Important Safety Information (ISI) for each medication will be provided by your prescribing healthcare provider during your consultation. Your provider will review the specific risks, contraindications, and side effects relevant to your prescribed treatment. You can also find safety information on each treatment page.

Before Starting Any Treatment

• Inform your provider of all current medications, supplements, and over-the-counter drugs you are taking.
• Disclose your complete medical history, including any allergies, prior surgeries, and chronic conditions.
• Tell your provider if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
• Discuss any history of mental health conditions, including depression or suicidal thoughts.

During Treatment

• Follow your provider's dosing instructions exactly. Do not adjust your dose without medical guidance.
• Attend all scheduled follow-up appointments.
• Report any new or worsening symptoms to your provider promptly.
• Store all medications as directed on the label.

When to Seek Immediate Medical Attention

Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room if you experience:

• Signs of a severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; difficulty breathing; severe rash)
• Severe abdominal pain that does not go away
• Signs of pancreatitis (severe pain in your stomach area that radiates to your back, with or without vomiting)
• Changes in vision
• Rapid heartbeat or chest pain
• Signs of kidney problems (changes in urine output, swelling in legs/ankles)
• Severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea leading to dehydration
